Getting a Burnaby condo ready to list
Small, inexpensive steps that help a condo photograph well and show well — before it goes on the market.
Most buyers meet your home on a phone screen first. These steps help it make a good first impression, in photos and in person.
Clear the surfaces
Kitchen counters, bathroom vanities and the dining table should be close to empty. Less on the surfaces makes rooms look larger in photos.
Fix the small things
Burnt-out bulbs, sticky drawers, chipped paint and dripping taps are cheap to fix and easy for buyers to notice.
Gather your strata documents early
Buyers’ lawyers and lenders will ask for strata minutes, bylaws and financial statements. Requesting them early avoids delays once an offer arrives.
Let in the light
Open the blinds, clean the windows, and use warm, matching bulbs.
